It's been more than a year, since I have done something with the domain caffeinecoder.net, my first development site on the World Wide Web, where I have released my statistics component for mambo/joomla that now has a home on www.joomlastats.org. Last December I check the domain registration and I thought what if caffeinecoder.com is available that would be cool, and so I checked and guess what, it was available and I registered the domain.
The last 3 months online where a mixture of searching content management systems, delving through the microsoft media center sdk and visiting my bookmarked sites.
The content management system for this site is drupal 6.x, I have chosen this system because it is also the system we are going to use in the company where I work and for the sake of progress and not learning too much in a short time (preventing a brain overflow) .
It's the most flexible system that I have encountered with the support of Role based permissions and modules. Most of the Content Management Systems have a great way of extending the system but lack the support of Role based permission system, and that's what we needed in the company where I work and maybe someday it comes in handy on this site too.
What you can expect here on the site is not yet determent, the future will tell. But expect something like plug-ins for the Vista Media Center and maybe some modules for Drupal.
